Camp in the Community 2025

Camp in the Community (CITC) is a ministry of the Holston United Methodist Conference Camp and Retreat Ministries. It is a week-long day camp program for children throughout the Appalachia region. We provide a high-quality summer camp experience to those who could not otherwise afford to attend summer camp.
This is for the purpose of sharing the Gospel in a tangible way, and developing lasting relationships between the community and the church. In addition to reaching children in poverty, the program works with area youth to develop them as leaders in the church. Youth are provided leadership and childcare training, and serve as assistant counselors.

~ There are plenty of ways to serve CITC: helping with meals, registration, serving as "counselor homes" for the week, and walking the grounds to provide safety during the week
