All Sunday School classes meet Sunday mornings at 9:45 am.
Christian Fellowship Class
~ The Christian Fellowship class is full of warmth and wisdom to go around! All are welcome to join.
~ They use the group study questions in The Upper Room devotion materials to encourage a "discussion-type" study format.
~ The spiritual foundation of the Christian Fellowship Class can be found in verse 3 of the class hymn "Blest Be the Tie that Binds" - We share each others' woes, our mutual burdens bear. And for each other often flows, the sympathizing tears.
~ They meet in the "Christian Fellowship" room upstairs.

~ The Sisters in Spirit class actively prays for FUMC Newport and each other in times of joy & in times of sorrow. It is truly a community of faith sisters! All are welcome to join.
~ They are currently studying Heaven: When Faith Becomes Sight by Jennifer Rothschild.
~ The spiritual verse for the Sisters in Spirit class is Proverbs 27:9 - "Sweet friendships refresh the soul and awakens our hearts with joy, for good friends are like the anointing of oil that yields the fragrant incense of God's presence."
~ They meet in the "Sisters in Spirit" room upstairs.

~ "So whether we are here in this body or away from this body, our goal is to please Him." (2 Cor. 5:9)
