20th Holiday Bazaar Did you know that in the past 19 years you have helped raise $165,000 for the Breadbasket and other local missions through your contributions to our annual holiday bazaar? We’re hoping to raise $15,000 to help the Breadbasket and other local missions. All proceeds go directly to local missions in our community.
This year’s Bazaar will be Sat. Nov 19th from 8 am to 12 noon in the Fellowship Hall. So, make sure you make plans to attend!!!
We need your help with donations of gently used Christmas items, canned items like jams, jellies, fruits, vegetables, baked goods like cakes, sourdough bread and other breads, cookies, pies, candy and homemade crafts, knitted items, crocheted items, quilts. No yard sale items.
We will also be having a “Vintage Corner” hosted by Lanie Duncan. She will be collecting items, so if you have something that you would like to donate to this area, please contact Lanie at 423-237-0686.
FUMC youth group will host the “Holiday Hustle” a 5k run/3k walk on the morning of the Bazaar. See Ashley Dudley for more information or to sign up (423-237-1739).
New this year shoppers will be able to take home a delicious barbeque meal with a choice of pulled pork or grilled chicken quarters crafted by a pro tour award winning competitor.
Bazaar committee meets every other Wed. from 5 pm to 6 pm. The next meetings are Oct. 6th Wed. Oc. 19th. Volunteers are always needed to help with set-up the day before and with many of the various tasks to make our Bazaar so successful.
